Main responsibilities: 

• Conduct regular formal site audits and carry out inspections as directed in the Safety Management system,
• Communicate to site management in order to close out issues
• Ensure the delivery of health and safety inductions for all new employees
• Preparation of site paperwork including Safe Systems of Work, Risk Assessments, Inductions and Toolbox Talks
• Carrying out site inspections and audits
• Compiling, updating and communication of site Emergency Plans
• Collecting and collating relevant information for inclusion in the Safety File and preparing for handover to the Client at the end of the project.

Essential Skills

• Excellent organisational skills to include report writing and records maintenance.
• Excellent reporting skills and proficiency in Word, Excel and reporting software
• Excellent interpersonal and report writing skills
• Extensive knowledge of Irish health and safety legislation

Education & Experience

• A relevant recognised EHS qualification
• Experience in in construction safety is advantageous
