Commissioning Manager - Preconstruction

Office Location: Kildare
Would suit site based CX manager with an interest in preconstruction
Our client is a leading international Main Contractor with offices in several European countries and North America.
Involved in heavy industrial, manufacturing and Data Centre sectors they are currently investing in specialist Preconstruction department, independently run with a responsibility for all Data Centre projects in Mainland Europe.
You will report to a Pre-construction Director and work alongside preconstruction managers, logistics personnel, planners, design managers and Civil/Mech/Elec engineers prioritising the standardization of DC design/preconstruction activities up to early-stage project delivery.

Responsibilities:
Review & understand the project scope and ER's.
Review, understand and communicate the design intent of the project from an Cx stance.
Plan and complete the Cx roadmap and construction sequence for the project and ensure alignment to project construction schedule.
Ensure procurement of MEP contractors is aligned to construction & commissioning schedule.
Lead co-ordination of client/projects OFCI vendors and ensure integration into the project master schedule & commissioning strategy.
Co-ordinate the MEP design ensuring commissioning strategy can be delivered as planned.
Lead CX workshops with both client design team/commissioning agent and proposed MEP contractors.
Develop overall commissioning strategy and schedule ensuring alignment to main contract programme.
Requirements:
3rd level qualification in engineering or construction
Proven experience in managing large scale MEP/Cx programmes
Previous exposure to MEP/Cx management process & co-ordination leading to delivery on site.
Previous exposure to managing client commissioning agent
Previous experience of commissioning to IST level 5 to include all OFCI equipment and kit.
Strong leadership and communication skills
Self-motivated and works off own initiative
Previous DC experience is essential
