Mechanical Engineer
Opportunity to work in Amsterdam, with your own apartment provided, living allowance and return flights home every two weeks.
No previous experience on Data Centers is required for the right candidate with the right attitude.
Our client is a large international main contractor heavily involved in the construction of Data Centers. As the main contractor on these projects, they build them as a complete package from enabling/civil works through structural build, M&E installation, and commissioning to final client handover. You will be working with a large main contractor within a strong and structured management team.
Opportunity: This role would be of interest to a qualified Mechanical Engineer with large project experience who is interested in the opportunity of working in Mainland Europe on large scale construction projects – something different!!
Benefits: Salary on the tax system in your country of deployment, own apartment with all utilities paid, flights home every 2 weeks and a living allowance provided to cover daily expenses. The salary shown is an indication and is dependent on experience.

Duties:
- Management of the Mechanical Systems under your control.
- Work with our supervision teams across all aspects of delivery and performance review from project commencement right through assessing performance, to commissioning and handover.
- Management and co-ordination of works with on-site teams.
- Ensuring all documents conform to established standards and procedures.
- Ensuring all works are carried out in accordance with the contract requirements.
- Liaising with Clients team and partaking in meetings
- To promote high standards of Health, Safety and Quality onsite.
- Develop and deliver the project to achieve time,cost,and quality requirements.
- Submit performance review reports and feedback for senior management, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Requirements:
- 5 yrs plus experience working with a recognised Mechanical/Electrical contractor in process mechanical / pipework
- Third level qualification
- Excellent organizational and planning skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
