Planner/Scheduler with Civils Experience X 1, Co. Kildare

A Planner/Scheduler is being recruited by a company with a top-quality track record which is illustrated by numerous and prestigious construction industry awards it has received. You will join a major construction company who have completed multi-million Euro projects in a wide variety of sectors. Their team is highly skilled and professional, and this allows the company to successfully complete prestigious projects for many high-profile clients. 

 This role is based in Co. Kildare.

What you will be doing:
  • Production of competitive and realistic tender plans, programmes and contract programmes for roadworks, marine, rail, utilities and treatment plants
  • Understand project, scope of works and restrictions imposed by contractual requirements and site conditions
  • Identifying and selecting the appropriate techniques & sequence of events for each project including temporary works
  • Incorporating production outputs, draw up and present plans / programmes
  • Production of resource loaded programmes as required
  • Writing method statements, incorporating graphics as required
  • Attend tender meetings and present tender plan and programme
  • Attending and presenting at client interviews
  • Ensure project team is fully briefed and issued with copies of tender plan and programme at Estimator’s handover meeting
What you need to be successful:
  • 3+ years’ experience in a similar role; main contracting experience desirable
  • Civil Engineering or Construction related degree essential
  • NEC3 programming experience (desirable)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Possess ability to work well as part of a team
  • Excellent analytical and time management skills
  • Have excellent computer skills using Microsoft Office and Planning software such as Primavera P6, Tilos or Microsoft Project
