Pumps, Gear Boxes & Repairs
Duties to include:
-POs verify accuracy, terminology, and specifications, preparing, maintaining and reviewing Purchasing Reports, and Price lists: liaising with Industrial Customers for supply needs: order status & cancellations.
-Procurement: Pricing comparison , technical specifications, and delivery dates in order to determine the best bid among potential suppliers.
-Overseas sourcing for parts as required, to meet tight deadlines for customer requirements & freight delivery options.
-Contact suppliers in order to schedule or expedite deliveries and to resolve shortages, missed or late deliveries, and other problems.
-Inventory & Stores Management: check shipments when they arrive to ensure that orders have been filled correctly and that goods meet job / Customer specifications
-Monitor in-house inventory movement and complete inventory transfer forms
-Calculate costs of orders, and charge or forward invoices to appropriate accounts
