Our Client Tier 1 Inter/National Building & Civil Engineering contractor looking to recruit Intermediate Quantity Surveyor for an on-going prestigious industrial/commercial project in Belfast.
You would be joining a construction company with a diverse portfolio of high-profile projects and a track record of delivering landmark developments in Ireland, UK & Overseas.

2-5 years’ experience in a related role could make you the perfect fit for this role.

Post tender and pre contract activities: familiarisation with the tender file and assisting with preparing commercial targets for the project.
During the contract period: the procurement of subcontractors, attending pre-award meetings, documentation and schedules, applications, variation schedules, measurement, controlling accounts, payments, in-house reports, contractual correspondence and final account.
During the post contract period: finalise subcontractor accounts and complete all filing and other documentation
Work as part of a team to ensure that the requirements of the client are delivered.
Liaise and report to the Senior Quantity Surveyor
Develop and maintain relationships with Client Representatives to support the activities and maintain positive relations on behalf of the company
Representative of the company at all relevant site and other meeting

Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or any relevant subject
Minimum of 2 years of professional experience with proven track record
Excellent problem solving skills
Good financial and numeric management skills
Excellent communication and negotiating skills
A clear understanding of building regulations and guidelines
Candidate must be self motivated with a strong work ethic and drive to succeed
