Intermediate Quantity Surveyor

Our client a large building contractor requires an Intermediate Quantity Surveyors for a large new build education project in Cork City.
The successful QS will report to a Senior QS and will be primarily site based.
Responsibilities
· Ensure project objectives are met and set a change in process where appropriate
· Compile the final accounts, variations and valuations
· Sub-contractors tendering and payments
· Cost plans
· Cost reporting
· Interact with the project team to maximise project procurement, production and strategies
· Ability to form and develop relationships with client, PQS, design teams and supply chain
The Person
· Degree educated in Quantity Surveying or a similar qualification
Minimum of three years' QS experience
Worked on sites in Ireland or the UK
· Hungry to learn and develop
· Excellent communicator
· Strong time management and reporting skills
