Project Quantity Surveyor - Meath
Our Client is a Main Contractor/Developer involved in numerous sectors including commercial, public and residential build both as main contractor and developerThey are seeking a Quantity Surveyor for a medium-rise residential development in Meath.
You will be site-based and report to the commercial manager (HQ based) of the company and work in parallel with the Contract’s Manager delivering the project.
The salary and package for the role will be in line with the experience of the candidate.
Duties
Cost monitoring and reporting using Construction Computer Software;
Procuring, Reviewing, and approving selected contractors /suppliers
Ensure Contractual correspondence in accordance with contract terms.
Continuously monitor the project to ensure that it stays on time and in budget
Taking off quantities from drawings for insertion into estimate cost templates
Preparation of inquiry documentation utilising standard pro-forma to establish competitive packages
Analysis of subcontract quotations to enable normalisation and comparison to use most competitive return within our submissions to clients
Requirements:
Approx. 5 years experience with third level qualification in Quantity Surveying
Knowledge of residential build preferable medium/high density
