Quantity Surveyor Kildare Developer

We are in the market for a Project Quantity Surveyor with a minimum of 4 yrs experience to work full time with an established developer on a large apartment block West Dublin.
We require a candidate who has experience based on large residential or office builds carrying out the following Duties.
•Dealing with Sub-Contractors
•Cost Control / Management of Project
•Preparing measures and works packages for procurement and valuation purposes
•Negotiating and purchasing of Sub-Contractors and suppliers.
•Final Account negotiations etc.
•Closely monitor and process project variations
•Prepare reports including cost reports and cash flow forecasts
•Issuing tender queries and preparation of tender reports
•Preparing progress applications and cost reports
•Attend project and subcontractor meetings
•Ensure contract documents and their revisions are effectively managed
•Reporting to management on the financial progression of projects
•Ensure effective records are kept of the works as they progress
•Monitor project costs against budgets, identify problems/opportunities and recommend /implement change where necessary.
•3rd level Qualification in Quantity Surveying / Construction economics
•Minimum of 4 years post qualification experience, ideally served with a main building contractor or developer
•A proven track record of quantity surveying
•Strong operational skills and an attention to detail
•Have gained good experience working on building projects in Ireland / UK.
•Good presentation skills
•Good computer skills
