Your responsibilities will include:

• Report directly to the commercial manager  
• Assisting with project cash management
• Preparing and reviewing monthly cost reports
• General administration of main and subcontracts
• Management of commercial and contractual matters
• Procurement of sub-contracts and suppliers
• Identify, measure, price negotiate & agree budgets and cost variations
• Liaise with accounts department, commercial manager & contracts manager
• Assist with the mentoring of junior quantity surveyors
• Advise and support with project correspondence

What you will need:  

• Relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying or related discipline
• A minimum of 8 years in a similar role
• Ability to work on large scale projects
• Excellent written, verbal & communication skills  
• Excellent time management skills
• Ability to use time efficiently and to maximise efficiency with staff
