OUR CLIENT:

Our client is a very well established large main contractor with numerous diverse projects. They are heavily involved in the construction of Data Centers in multiple locations on Main land Europe.

They require Site Engineers to add to their project team on a new build datacentre in Amsterdam

No previous experience on Data Centers is required for the right candidate with the right attitude.

You will receive an excellent remuneration package in line with your experience. Flights every 2 weeks, excellent accommodation for your downtime, a living allowance, transport etc.

THE ROLE:

Site Engineer – Civil Structural and Architectural - Amsterdam on a "first in class" high tech datacenter construction from a brownfield site to complete delivery and hand over

DUTIES:

The role relates to the civil structural and architectural aspects of the project.
Supervision of sub- contractors with an emphasis on quality standards
Quality control and documentation
Ensuring all contractors on site are working to the latest set of construction drawings / details.
Checking plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations
Monitor quality of workmanship & materials,
Keep a daily diary of all relevant events

REQUIREMENTS:

2 yrs plus experience

Experience on civil, building or enabling works projects

The ability to interpret technical drawings – such as general arrangements for rebar, setting out and service drawings

Strong management skills

Either trade or professional qualification
