Project CSA Engineer - Newcastle
OUR CLIENT:
Our client is a very well-established large main contractor with numerous diverse projects. They are heavily involved in the construction of Data Centers and require Site Engineers to add to their project team on a new build datacentre in Newcastle.
No previous experience in Data Centers is required for the right candidate with the right attitude.
THE ROLE:
Site Engineer – Civil Structural and Architectural - Newcastle
DUTIES:
The role relates to the civil structural and architectural aspects of the project.
Supervision of sub-contractors with an emphasis on quality standards
Quality control and documentation
Ensuring all contractors on site are working on the latest set of construction drawings/details.
Checking plans, drawings, and quantities for accuracy of calculations
Monitor quality of workmanship & materials,
Keep a daily diary of all relevant events
REQUIREMENTS:
2 yrs plus experience
Experience in civil and enabling works projects
The ability to interpret technical drawings – such as general arrangements for rebar, setting out and service drawings
Strong management skills
Either trade or professional qualification
