Maintenance Shift Technician

We have a number of different opportunities for both Electrical and Mechanical Utilities Maintence Personnel for various clients in the pharmaceutical industry. Site based positions, most sites are located in the Dublin West areas. Both day and shift opportunities. To be considered, applicants must have minimum trade certificate and at least 2 years utility maintenance expereience in a regulated environment such as; Pharma, hospital, data centre, power station or semiconductor.

Being part of the maintenance team, you will be responsible for the execution of the preventive and corrective maintenance program as per the Client/PPU requirements.

Duties will include
  • Carry out work as per schedule supplied as per site policies, schedules and procedures
  • Be part of a team, working on all Utilities Equipment
  • Liaise with Contractors during planned service maintenance
  • Participate in the appropriate training
  • Carry out Risk Assessment of Equipment Maintenance Task List steps and ensure these areas are always kept valid
  • Carry out Periodic reviews of SOP to ensure documents are always current and valid
 To be considered for these positions you will have; 
  • Mechanical / Electrical maintenance experience, with a good understanding of the basic fundamentals of the various utilities systems
  • Senior Trades, City & Guilds or equivalent in Mechanical / Electrical engineering
  • Pumps, HVAC Systems, Compressors, Boilers, steam systems and ancillary services, (DHW skids), Chillers, Cooling Towers, Clean steam Boilers, Purified Water Systems, CIP systems, Low /Medium voltage Electrical Systems
  • Building Management Systems (Scada)
  • Good understanding of Preventive Maintenance Systems PLC’s
  • Work within a Computerized Maintenance Management Work Order system environment
  • Experience with Facility Start Up
  • Work within a documented Permit to Work System
  • Computer literate
  • Ability to read and understand P&ID’s
  • Understanding of SOP’s and GMP Engineering systems
  • Understanding of Basic Instrumentation
  • Must be able to demonstrate hands on experience with Troubleshooting/repair of Low & medium Voltage Electrical Systems and troubleshooting / repair of Mechanical systems
