Join an award-winning consulting engineering firm that provide specialist services in the water supply/wastewater treatment, renewable energy and environmental sectors. This company are currently seeking to recruit a driven Environmental Scientist to join their environmental team in Sligo.
This company are currently experiencing significant growth in their environmental division. The company are looking for someone who will join a strong team of professionals and will work on EIAR projects in wind energy, green hydrogen and renewables. Other sectors may include bioenergy, manufacturing and infrastructure.
The company will offer a defined career path for development in one of the largest privately owned engineering consultancies in Ireland.
Your Role will Involve:
- Perform preliminary and detailed process design of water/wastewater treatment plants based on data provided.
- Research and development of new process design solutions
- Keep up to date with developments in regulatory legislation and specifications that may affect design work.
- Working with other team members to undertake technical work, site work, and project management.
- Management of client relationships on allocated projects both internal and external.
- Conducting site inspections and works supervision.
Requirements:
- Minimum Level 8 Degree Qualification in environmental science, environmental engineering or a related field.
