To be considered for the role you must:
Hold a Third Level qualification in Civil Engineering (or similar) Degree/Dip/Cert.
Have more than 3 years on-site relevant experience in civils construction.
Be competent at setting-out and checking same.
Be proficient in the English language (spoken, written, technical).
Have strong IT skills and literacy.
Ideally you will:
Have an understanding of construction contracts.
Have a flexible approach to work and an ability to prioritise and manage time effectively.
Be able to generate timely reports.
Have good communications, interpersonal and team management skills.
Be competent at managing and supervising sub-contractors.
Have knowledge and appreciation of Health & Safety requirements and issues.
Have a keen business acumen and acute commercial awareness.
The role involves:
Managing and supervising all aspects of the construction site including; sub-contractors, QA/QC, ensuring Health & Safety standards are maintained and enhanced, maintaining records, generating timely reports, liaising with Architects and Consultants, attending site meetings, etc. Reporting to the Project Director.
